About Siri Cota:
Originally from Santa Cruz, now residing in Oceanside, Siri has been a finalist in the Cold Water Classic for two consecutive years. She’s also a surf instructor in the popular Hello Kitty Surf Clinics in Southern California.

About Anna Garaway:
Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Anna just finished teaching surf clinics in Europe for O’Neill. Anna is also another top finisher in the Cold Water Classic.

• 6:30 a.m. - Check-in with light breakfast
• 7:00 a.m. - Ocean safety, Surf Etiquette and tips from professional surfers Siri Cotaand Anna Garaway
• 8:00 a.m. - In the Water! Get hands-on practice and assistance from the pros
• 10:30 a.m. - Brunch and hangin’ out with Siri and Anna
• 12:30 p.m - Back in the water with the pros
• 3:00 p.m. - Day complete – boards wetsuits returned

The clinic will held at Cowells Surf Spot in Santa Cruz*. Your time out of the water will be spent in the comfort of a back yard that is walking distance to Cowells.

Offering day camps, girlfriend getaways, a week-long surf retreat, private and group lessons, and more.

Nine day camps will be held in 2007. They will run during the months of June, July, August (Beginner to Advanced Beginner Level) and September (Advanced Beginner to Intermediate Level). Our day camp includes transportation to and from the beach, originating in Seaside, OR, all equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, boots, gloves, hood and helmet), nutritious catered lunch, beverages, morning Beach Yoga session, water-board-beach safety instruction, in-depth surf instruction both on land and two sessions in the water with coaches, a NWWSC tee shirt and our Camp Partners bag of gifts and info!   For dates and more info, click here.

On Saturday, July 28th, 2007, NWWSC will hold their All Teen Girl Surf Camp.  “This day’s event is focused on the unique qualities of the teenage girl!”  We utilize the “40 Assets Community Goals for Youth Development” to empower the students with skills and tools that go beyond the basics of surfing.  The day will be filled with fun and adventure, both on the beach with yoga, board-beach-ocean safety, and in-water coaching with our dynamic surf instructors!  A “youth inspired”, catered, organic lunch and beverages will be provided.  Teenagers 13 to 19 are invited to attend.  For more info, click here.

On Saturday, August 4th, 2007, NWWSC will celebrate the special bond between a Mother and her Daughter with our Special Camp Event for Mothers and Daughters. This day will provide a wonderful opportunity to learn and experience surfing together in an all inclusive one day camp event.  Camp size is limited to 12 (6 pairs of Moms and Daughters).  This Special Day Camp Event includes everything our one day camp format does- all surf and yoga instruction, all equipment, catered organic lunch and beverages, transportation, a NWWSC tee shirt and gift bag full of valuable info, discounts and goodies! For more info, click here.

August 19th to 24th, 2007, is NWWSC Women’s Week Long Surf Retreat on the scenic North Oregon Coast.  World travelers have called the North Coast “Home of the world’s most beautiful beaches”.   Six days and five nights filled with morning beach yoga, daily surf camps with instruction, catered, nutritious organic meals, two hours of massage services over the week (a menu of choices are offered), daily personal time for meditation, relaxation, rejuvenation and exploration, and optional evening group activities, gives you an opportunity to create new friendships with women who share your desire and passion to learn and excel at surfing!
