Every year, over 40,000 women are expected to die from breast cancer in the U.S. (from http://www.bcrfcure.org/).
In February 2006, the National Center for Health Statistics announced that the number of Americans dying from cancer fell for the first time in almost 70 years. Gladly, due to onging support and growing research, there are positive cancer statistics like this as well as inspirational survivor stories like Zeuf Janiszeufski Hesson.
From our customers:
"I'm a breast cancer survivor (went through treatment last year) and I was so glad that Girls4Sport was there with cute and sexy sun protective beach wear. I had radiation on my chest and really can't expose any of it to the sun through the end of this year. You guys have had a hand in helping me get my life back to order. Thanks for being there!"

The U'ilani Fund
The U'ilani Fund was created to honor the memory of Marina Lee U'ilani Bermudez, a family practice physician who passed away from breast cancer in July of 2000. U'ilnai was a fun-loving, active person whose untimely death at age 42 prompted her friends and family to find a way to honor all the good she had brought into our lives.
During her chemotherapy and radiation, U'ilani also took advantage of alternative and complementary care strategies which helped her remain strong and positive throughout her treatment. We witnessed the value of complementary treatments and recognized that many women may not be able to benefit from things like massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and herbs due to cost and lack of coverage by insurance.
The U'ilani Fund was created to offer women with breast cancer access to the same opportunities for comfort and support that U'Ilani had.
