Sport Interests: Surfing, Yoga, Gardening, Hiking, ‘Yogging’ a cross between yoga and jogging...ha ha ha.

How I got started surfing: Tearing my ACL Ligament in competitive snowboarding many moons ago (12 years) and went back to work in Baja at a spa. A dear friend lent me a board and that was it...

Athletic achievements:
 Every day of surfing is an athletic achievement.

Athletic goals: To continue to embrace Mother Ocean for the rest of my life.

Inspirations: The oxygen rich forest that surrounds our farm. The work of Moshe Feldenkrais and Milton Trager

Philosophies: I live to inspire healthy living habits in those around me....offering informal education around conscious eating and sharing knowledge. When we take time to witness the everyday Miracles that surround us, we can reconnect to the Source.

Favorite spot to surf: A sweet rocky break amongst the Organic Basil Fields in Baja Mexico and a chilly river mouth at the end of a long winding logging road on Southern Vancouver Island

What I do when I'm not in the water:
 Garden, organize international yoga and surf retreats, create delicious veggie feasts, and new recipes, breathe, practice random acts of kindness and gratitude, snuggle with my sweetheart and our four-legged kids.

My job: Founder, holistic chef and massage therapist for Milagro Retreats.

Education: Everyday life is an education.

Interesting/unusual facts about me:
I starting cooking vegetarian at 12 years of age. I love living on the beach and not showering for days.
My generally positive attitude is an honest reflection of my gratitude to be on this earth!
